Credential Verification

Employment Requirements:

It is the plolicy of the Griffin Area Resource Center, Inc. to verify the below credentials prior to offering employment to an applicant.


  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Current Resume/Employment Application

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Valid Georgia Driver's License

  • Minimum 3 years of driving experience

  • Meet the DBHDD rules & regulations on driving history (MVR)

  • Pre-Employment Physical including drug screening

  • Criminal History Background check/fingerprints

  • Tuberculosis Test

  • I-9 E-Verify

  • Proficiency score on Typing Skills Test


Procedure:

The Griffin Area Resource Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate. When hiring someone who requieres more education than written above, it will be the GARC policy to have the transcrip delivered in a sealed envelope for HR only to open, document, then file. GARC will not hire anyone who does not meet the above credentials. It is understood and agreed upon that any misrepresentations will be sufficient cause for termination.
